The Monopoly of Violence, Unless You Have Consent of the Governed
In the libertarian philosophy, then it sounds like this would go against the traditional monopoly on violence of the government. Which i guss i's kind of what western civilization is somewhat primised on,. That we're abdicating some of our ability to pursue retribution from being victimized to the government or legal system that then does it on our behalf. But i i think what wat rothbart's argument here is that the scenaria oath of trying to shift away the responsibility of punishment is ason dictory as trying toshift away your responsibility for action.
