Dave Bologna: I would not be a bit surprised if some of the monologuing that went on with Moff Gideon might have actually been in an earlier draft during the interrogation. He says it was kind of a shame that we didn't get any real resolution to the Dr. Pershing story in this episode. Like, is he dead? What does it mean when you get uploaded to a mind flayer? Do they harvests your intelligence and your thoughts and your memory? These are still open and questions.
