The Fear of the Oblivion
After the God delusion, you became one of these celebrated atheists. One of your co-conspirators there was Christopher Hitchens. There was a movement to rewrite his final days and suggest that he'd actually seen the light. I find the idea of eternity frightening. We want to be... we want to avoid it by being under a general anaesthetic. That's the way we're all going to spend eternity.
