UK Trade Has Bounced Back Less Slowly Since COVID Pandemic
Following the COVID pandemic, UK trade has grown more slowly than other countries trade. This is exactly the same period when the UK's new trade relationship with the EU came into effect. The lower growth has resulted in UK trade being 10 to 20% lower than it would have been if it had grown at the same rate as other countriestrade. We don't typically see such large differences in trade emerging over what is essentially a two year period.
