Cassite Babylonia and Assyria
Assyria took a much more aggressive and subjugating approach to cassite babylonia. The elamites from the east were, as ever, still very keen on poking their noses into the affairs of southern mesopotamia. This ultimately led to the collapse of the cassite dynasty in babylonia in around 11 55 b c e after more than 400 years of established rule by the elemites.
