Is Freud's Interpretive Framework Right?

It feels to me like freud is kind of doing something phenomenological here, where he's attempting to bracket out some things and make sense of what that phenomenon means to us. And we can question aspects of the interpretive framework. But it's not necessarily calling into question the notion that dreams have significance.
