The Meta Theme of Storytelling
There's a heroic part of the ego that tries to puncture it or scrape off aspects of an archetype in order to lessen its new monosity. If I can deflate the power of these things that fascinate me, I have more autonomy. So all through what we call history, I hope people can see the meta theme here. Ego consciousness has been strengthening itself by slowly siphoning off the energy of an archetype. That is what a myth is. All the different myths we know, the content of storytelling is this breaking apart.
