There was a lot of erudition here. But again, pastoro seems to stretch frequently and to make statements with more confidence than warranted. He admits that the arthurian legend says nothing about bears. And he incorrectly claims the mediaeval church band human dissection a long disproven myth. So it's not all bad, but i think you have to tak pastoro's broader conclusions with a grain of salt.
