What's the Value of Comets?
JPL runs the deep space network for NASA. We did all the communications with Orion once it went beyond near Earth. So we are the ones who are talking to Orion. Those beautiful pictures you saw coming back of the earth and moon came through our D space network. That makes the Artemis program so particularly interesting. It's a huge challenge. Twenty five years is probably about the right kind of timeframe to be thinking about.
