I find myself as much annoyed by the politics of movies about war which inevitably not not inevitably but oftentimes you will have a movie that is just dedicated to the thesis that war is trauma inducing it makes victims of us. I can enjoy movies from both ends of the spectrum but these are these are sides of the story rather than the rather than the whole story every now and then you encounter films like The leopard or Bert Lancaster's "The Leopard"
