Out of the Silent Planet by Lewis Wells
Out of the silent planet was written by lewis in 19 34, before he had started writing apologetics or anything along those lines. The book really is almost an answer to wells's first men in the moon,. Similarities here, there's a chance meeting with an eccentric scientist like cavor. T point has a connection to the lod of the rings. And then the book ends with a whole little section of cavor's first person letters - which is quite similar to the a postscript that ransom writes out that comes that's attached to the end oout of the silent Planet.
