The Purpose for Which We Are Made
The first passage that I would like to show you is from 1 Corinthians chapter 10. The Apostle Paul says this, he says, so whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. In Psalm 16, we are given a wonderful passage that describes for us the purpose for which we are made and where true joy and true pleasure really is. If we are focusing our attention to be found ultimately in something that is created rather than the Creator, we are in danger of falling into idolatry. And as we enjoy Him, we glorify Him.
