The Son of God

James died very early. He was martyred by Herod, a grip of the second, about AD 49. And so he was dead within a decade of when Jesus was crucified. The so-called epistle of James is written by a different James known as James the brother of the Lord or James the just. But Peter's preaching was preserved in the form of the gospel of Mark.
