The Story of the 10th Mountain Division
In 1941 they came up with a war plan to beat Nazi Germany. They estimated we would need 215 divisions and 8.8 million soldiers by 1943. And so the whole story of this is that, you know, it was mini-dole and the national ski patrol system that started the 10th mountain division. He had huge connections. General Marshall was the Chief of Staff of the US Army and he wore them down. I mean, pure tenacity, it truly was incredible.
