Sally Kohn: I understand the politics of this versus given your propensity for boldness is not necessary nuclear. Some of it is depending upon where you are in the world, you can or can't say nuclear is a solution. If your chances of getting nuclear power up politically in Australia or New Zealand on a climate relevant timeline is functionally zero. Once we get to 150% we're golden and there's a wonderful recent paper in nature that shows pretty much every country in the world with a blend of wind and solar with 150% renewables could get 100% reliable electricity. But honestly, Australia, New Zealand, Canada could do it without.
