What Happened to the World's Population?
Malthus thought the world's ability to support people was growing slowly. He didn't think we could control our own fertility, but he talked about infanticide. Malthus would have thought of the pill as vice 200 years ago. But I don't think he could have envisioned that on the one hand, we would be able to look after ourselves and feed ourselves so well.
