In 2019 June the Bank of England is getting the public to think about cash dying out and what are the new digital ways to pay. David Walliams looks at a different source who says in 2021 the UK will be almost cashless by 2024 so we're not far away from that. The blame for cash going is put squarely on the back of all matters to do with COVID-19 and lockdown but it wasn't regulations, he argues.
