The Importance of Honesty in Prayer

How do I wrestle with God in a way that brings forth power, but intimacy being the lasting gift or what about someone that's in the midst of the wrestle? And they're saying, I don't know if I have the stamina for what it takes. How would you counsel someone to practice this kind of prayer, this laboring in love kind of prayer? Yeah, I would say honesty is the first place.
