The Life of Adam Clayton Powell, Sr.

Bonhoeffer studied for a year at Union at Theological Seminary. He was bored by the theology and kind of depressed, he wrote about it in his book. Bonhoeffer went to Abyssinian Baptist Church up in Harlem as part of his social work. And what he experienced there completely blew his mind. Many people in that congregation had been born during slavery time.
