Introduction
The government was concerned that black soldiers would be particularly unhappy, low morral when they were based in southern camps. A sociologist named muel stofer went out and asked as many troops as he could about their morale. He says one of the main groups the government was concerned about morale wise was african american soldiers. That was thomas pettigrew a social psychologist who worked with stofer when he was a grad student.
