What Isn't Positioning?

The one classic I see all the time is it's not an objective. The objective should be something more like owning an association in the brain of the wider audience that you're targeting for example or as opposed to a monetary brand value. Yeah I want objectives really to be measurable so if you're gonna own something in the space you're gonna probably come back to sales or volume or targets as a clear objective.
