The Big Breakfast Study project has had a number of publications. The 2013 paper from the Nia Yokubovich and colleagues showed this greater weight loss with that morning loaded energy intake. But another one of those publications from Leony Roddick Collins and colleagues showed that maybe energy expenditure isn't really the thing that's explaining this.
