If we could slow down transmission and reduce transmission by giving people boosters, that's not just like a benefit for an individual, that's a benefit for all of society. The thing tha has ben the most frustrating to me is when public health officials have taken off their scientist hat and put on their punted hat. We are still paying for that in a lot of ways. Two of the members of the f d advisory committee wrote this piece in the lancet pre empting the advisory committee meeting, saying boosters should not be recommended.
