I grew up in New Mexico and Albuquerque. It was pretty straight up kind of towny rock place. But I remember those records coming out because you could hear guys playing them in their fucking cars. And then the store itself, the owners are sort of R&B driven. So they gave me all these promos, a box of records that I kept for years that they wouldn't play in the store. Tom Waits, Nighthawks at the diner, double live Elvis Costello's first record,. Tom Petty's first record. Oh, God damn this box rules.
