How to Give and Receive Feedback Asynchronously
There's only two things that can't be done asynchronously. When I give feedback to someone, there's a chance that they get offended or triggered. To make people feel heard around a decision, I've got to hear them not only read it, but hear them say it and even better repeat back to them when I think they said until they say, yes, that's it. Co-writing is way faster to get all the thoughts from the entire group. The ability to speak seems faster but actually may cause an efficiency for the entire team.
