Transgender and Mental Illnesses
Transgender people who are transgender can have mental illnesses, like anybody can have a mental illness. But being transiet in itself, of itself, is not a mental illness. The problem is when experts will pathologize certain kinds of identity and self identification just as was done with homosexuality. That's a very thorny dino questo.
