How to Record Guinea Pigs at Normal Speed

The pigs themselves appear to be an extremely difficult species for recording compared to the wolves. A guinea pigs have a rather heavy body on very short stiff legs with big claws. So this thing is moving constantly and in a normal cage is a storm of useless sound. They seemed like they were very they were vocal. I don't know if you were doing anything to cause them to talk so much, but they were awfully chatty when we were acquiring them.
