The Discredited Conservative Ideology
I don't think that had the economics been different or had the Conservatives over the last 13 years built more houses, that sort of 20 to 45-year-olds would be cock-a-hope about voting Conservative. I think it has to do with ideology. This is a generation of politicians that grew up with the idea that you can grow the pie exponentially and that wealth trickles down. That is now thoroughly discredited. And I don't see an economic theory, a political ideology there that's stepped in to replace it. Like even young people in the Conservative Party, they sort of embrace a sort of old fuddy duddies almost to fit in,. They make themselves look like
