JetBlue Northeast Alliance Violates the Sherman Anti-Trust Act

A federal judge in Boston ruled that the American JetBlue Northeast Alliance violated the Sherman Anti-Trust Act and couldn't go forward as structured. Judge Leo Soriken ruled in favor of the Justice Department and six states, all of which suit claiming the deal would reduce airline competition. The front loading is really a catch up for the years in negotiation since those pilots got their last deal, so that's not as surprising to me as the rest of the deal.
