Alaitis: We have this fantasy where God is like a golden crusted, it's like the Kardashians. Alaitis: I do think that that is the thing that you begin to experience when you experience great loss. He says his intimacy with Jesus has only gotten more so since more suffering. "God just trolls some people," he adds.
