Education for Uncertainty
I'm a parent and rather than just where you're actually out, I've been through those processes. Education is geared up to those that serve education and generally geared up for the old ways of working as I would call them. You know it's like we need to have some serious thoughtful imaginative conversations about these things. It's part of our job to try and fill kids and sort of metaphorical backpacks with knowledge when they're at school but it's also a less familiar part of ourjob to get them ready to know what to do when they don't know how to deal with uncertainty. This term mental agility or learning agility is the fashionable way of talking about learning to learn.
