Yanku Dumatrescu's music wasn't accepted in communist Romania. He formed his own ensemble, which is an amazing DIY thing to do in this Soviet period. They were going to reform the ensemble with a few Romanians from the original one and a bunch of Israeli musicians. And so I'm like, yeah, I'll go do that.
