I Think It's the Opposite of Austerity
I think the feeling of austerity is what both the right, more explicitly, and perhaps the centre has used as a cudgel against demands to do what the science demands. And so the transition in reclaiming leisure as collective, it has to, from the getgo and throughout, be just profoundly the opposite of austerity. Its about new ecologies of, you know, affluence that is public and democratic and ordered in very different ways. But if not, i think s fear to say we can afford this transition ts questionis, we can't really afford it.
