Is There a Difference Between Scale and Proportion?
I think scale and proportion are interesting words compared to the word size. They're different things. Scale is relative and proportion is obviously relative, big to small. That's more the space that I think designers operate with. It's not about raw square footage when it comes to designing the thing. It's about proportion and scale. If you can tune things directly, then you can have the feeling of largeness, of spaciousness, more tightness and coziness.
