Indonesian Helper Fees to Rise by $5,000

An employer's group has questioned why Indonesian helper fees will rise by up to $5,000 as suggested by the Indonesian Union. Betty Yong, chairwoman of the Hong Kong Employers of Overseas Domestic Helpers Association, said local employers already paid such fees to local agencies. She told Ben Chae that such an increase will add to employers' financial burden.
