How to Buy Into a Conspiracy Theory

Some people have this worldview to one degree or another where conspiracies control events and circumstances. Most of us are somewhere in the middle along this continuum, so it's not an either or situation. For someone to believe that Barack Obama faked his birth certificate you can't be a Democrat first of all. You can't be someone who rejects conspiracy theories. So for that reason, if you divide this into quadrants, high conspiracy thinkers and low conspiracy thinkers and Republicans and Democrats, you're going to wind up with about 25% of people who will buy into any partisan conspiracy theory.
