Metaphysics Wears the Trousers
Hume's fork is that all objects are either ideas or matters of fact. The scholastic wouldn't believe that, they're kind of platonic, right? That the idea is a matter of fact. They see it as a metaphysical object. But if you're going to say tupid stuff like the only things that are real are the things that science can measure, you're bein a moron. And i'm starting to maybe not even be for science. Because as i look at all things that have been so important to humans that we call technology, i'm not seeing those that were not results of engine and engineering approach.
