Character Building Advice - The Cliche

When we start delving into who they are as a character, what their flaws are, we connect with them as a character. When that connection isn't there, we start thinking about just the overarching plot of the fact this is a chosen one story. You can bring different complexities and layers to a love triangle. I feel like they've garnered a lot more hate in the past 10 years because it's been overused. But you have to ask, why was it overdone? And why do people feel attracted to the concept of a love triangle?"
