The Language of Horror Movies

It's a very good example of how we get more sophisticated when it comes to consuming art. And I do like that even at this early stage in 1980, that scene that you were mentioning with the person who does turn out to be the final girl,. It's following her through the kitchen as she's lighting the stove and getting stuff from the pantry. So it's just interesting to be reminded that jump scares like that specific language has existed for this long in horror movies.
