The Importance of Speaking to People Who Have Done It Before
If you want to be good at something, get to work for somebody who is already good at that thing. That's the most efficient way to gain experience quickly. Of course, the best is to have your own experience and other people's experience. But at the beginning when you're novice, it's much more important, of course, to have access to others' experience.
