The Importance of Being Empathetic at Conferences
I think there's a lot to be said about people who are more seasoned conference goers or are just more seasoned in the specific community that the conference is like focused on being really empathetic. Like, if you have a new, you know, one of your friends has a new girlfriend and she's coming into the group, you would be cognizant of that person coming into a new space that they might not be super comfortable in. I think it should be the same at conferences where these more seasoned engineers and individuals should be thinking through as there are opportunities to socialize.
