How to Use an Inner Scalyne Block for a Shoulder Procedure
inner scalyne blocks are heavily tested on all four exams to ITE and the oral boards. Many times, they ask these questions in two different ways: nerve damage or what does this nerve do here? The owner sparing is very rampant for an inner scaling block; it's seen in up to 20% of blocks. When you are trying to give analgesia for the shoulder, you really just need to anesthetize C5 at the top.
