The John Carter Effect

The mars books, the barsoon books by edgar rice burroughs inspired so many things. By the time people saw the john carters stuff made into a movie, it looked repetative and cliche because some one else had seen the adaptation before they'd seen the original. I enjoyd the books, and i thought that the movie was a travesty. Andnerd, sort of occult, classic people have come to love the john carter movie, and i don't like it at all.
