How to Create Story Experiences Out of Computer Interactivity
The film is trying to find ways to create more tension in a computer interface, which again is antithetical to how they're designed. Most of the computer interactivity in life has no sound to it, right? Like when you click a button or whatever, there's no sound,. So like even phones and stuff which create those sort of cute chiming sounds or your Nintendo Switch which creates those things, we've all learned over time to eliminate the soundscape. We just want computers to be fundamentally a facilitator, not a seminal experience, right?
