The Power of Prayer

The reading that I had was when Elijah is trying to get the prophets, the pagan prophets, to get their God ball to light this pyre. In doing so, he first asks for buckets of water so that he can dump water all over this wood. And after completely drenching the wood with water, he then prays to God to send down fire to light this Pyre. But what I didn't think about before is that he's doing this in the midst of a drought. It's like this water is precious, but God knows that the droughts is ending.
