The Relationship Between Mammon and Money
Mammon is a word for money and it's also an actual kind of demon or false God. Jesus says you can't serve two masters who can either serve God or Mammon. Christ is opposing that with the spirit of love which is the spirit of giving away. Our entire society is worshipping Mammon we've taken the seven deadly sins and turned them all into consumer opportunities. It comes down to the worship of Mammon I think the refusal to give away the desire to accumulate the desire for power.
