The Most Important Role of Data Teams
I feel like there are two types of companies for whom data is their core product and then there are companies for whomdata adds business value. In the first category think of any company that has an ads business right data is their main product because they need to figure out who clicked. If you look at the other category of companies where data adds more value to the business but it's not central or critical to the business I think the most important role is the person who's sponsoring that.
