The Relationship Between Israel and the South African Apartheid State
Anthony Lowenstein: Israel and Iran today are apparently enemies but in fact for a long time Israel was very friendly with Iran before 1979. He says that declassified documents have come out which really show how this was kind of a very strange relationship. The Shah's son has no friends in Iran itself the country that you'd think would be the most important one to have friends in, he writes.
