The Importance of Honest Prayer

Many young Christians find that liturgy feels constricting and dry. I think many prayers in the old prayer book say better than I possibly could exactly what I want to pray. The way god has made the world is such as to give humans the dignity of sharing agency. If everything that had to happen today in this city whatever was the result of someone's prayers there's a lot of things which would just stop dead in their tracks because nobody happened to be praying about it so very odd.
