Back in the 1800s, a government bill was passed to outlaw the theft of corpses when people were robbing graves. Before that, communities had to find their own solutions to keeping bodies safe from grave robbers. In the village of Adni Green in Aborteenture, a mort house was built in the old Kirkyard in 1832 for the purpose of storing bodies.
